Congress Vice-President Rahul Gandhi protest against Real Estate Bill at Jantar Mantar

Intensifying his assault on the centre government Rahul Gandhi is likely to join the home buyers protestors at Jantar Mantar in Delhi. The Congress Vice President met homebuyers to the Congress headquarters on saturday and discussed their concerns about a new real estate bill. Congress has termed the bill anti-consumer. There are fears that the real estate bill, keenly awaited by middle-class voters, dilutes penalties for late delivery of homes and does not safeguard against money being diverted from one project to another.
