The Gujarat High Court today rejected the abortion plea of a 24-year-old rape survivor, who is 28 weeks pregnant. The court said that the foetus is a living being with a fundamental right to live and also that she must abide by the present law. The court has also said that an abortion will endanger the woman's life.
