Silchar municipal office removes Mother Teresa's photo

More than a month after RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat attacked nobel prize winner and social activist Mother Teresa, saying that she carried out religious conversions. Assam BJP seems to be following his footsteps. The Silchar municipal board, which is controlled by BJP, has removed a photograph of Mother Teresa from a wall in the chairperson's chamber. The chairperson has defended the move by ridiculing Teresa, calling her unfit to be placed alongside those of great personalities of the country.
