Notorious car lifter Anil Chauhan (44), who was nabbed by Assam Police in Azara last Friday, is involved in lifting at least 4,552 vehicles from different locations across the country. He is wanted in Assam, Maharashtra and New Delhi in connection with car lifting cases. A 9mm pistol, a revolver and some ammunition were also found on him. A Mahindra Bolero and a white Huyndai Eon were also seized by the police from his residence in Guwahati and Mirza respectively.
