A car thief was arrested by the Assam Police recently from the Assam Assembly. Anil Chouhan a notorious car jacker had on his person a perfectly valid pass in to the house and invite by a MLA. The MLA in question is Congress's Rumi Nath. The thief Anil Chauhan even brazenly claimed to be Rumi Nath's driver. Mr Chauhan after all is not an ordinary criminal - it took a joint operation of the Assam police and the CRPF to nab him - and on his person were found atleast 3 personal handguns.
