Government fears Dimapur backlash, three states on high alert

After the lynching of a Rape accused in Dimapur the Home Ministry has put three states Karnataka, Maharashtra and Haryana on high alert. The Home Ministry is fearing a back-clash of people from the north east living in Bengaluru, Pune and Gurgoan and has asked the state governments to ensure their security.
