Shashi Tharoor called for questioning again

Congress MP Shashi Tharoor on Friday left for Thiruvananthapuram after taking permission from the Delhi Police.
Tharoor, who is being questioned in the murder case of his wife Sunanda Pushkar, visited the Sarojini Nagar Police Station this afternoon to seek permission from the investigating officer to go to Kerala for a book launch function.
On Thursday, Tharoor was called for questioning twice by the Delhi Police. In total, he was questioned for about seven hours yesterday.
The police is likely to question Tharoor again as, according to sources, some of his statements before police have been contradictory.
Delhi Police Commissioner BS Bassi had said earlier today, “We gathered detailed information from him (Tharoor) yesterday. Now his statement will be analysed.”
