Pakistan violates ceasefire again in Samba Sector

Ceasefire violations along the border continue with fresh fresh firing and shelling being reported for two hours late on Monday night. Pakistani forces targeted 45 Indian posts in Samba, Hiranagar, Kathua, Ramgad and Arnia sectors. One BSF jawan was killed in Hiranagar on Monday.
The Director General of the Border Security Force DK Pathak is scheduled to visit the border areas in Jammu on Tuesday to take stock of the situation. Pakistani forces are also targetting 65 villages on the Indian side forcing thousands to be evacuated of people. Over 7,000 people residing along the border in Samba and Kathua districts have already been moved to safer places.
