Arvind Kejriwal: Lt Governor should first ‘formally’ invite BJP
  • 5 years ago
Lieutenant Governor Najeeb Jung on Monday invited main parties BJP, Congress and AAP - for talks, kick-starting fresh efforts to install an elected government and will take a final decision soon to end the eight-month- long political uncertainty in Delhi.

Jung first invited BJP for talks on whether it is interested in taking a shot at the power, being the single largest party in the Assembly.

However, AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal tweeted, "BJP has conveyed 'informally' to LG and media that they are not in a position to form government in Delhi. What is BJP's "formal" stand?"

He further added, "BJP should make public the letter that they gave to LG, if any. LG Najeeb Jung should first 'formally' invite BJP(largest party), seek their 'formal' stand, make it public, then invite next party, the way he did in December."
