Gujarat government shows Arunachal Pradesh as disputed territory

Congress on Monday demanded an explanation from PM Modi for his "silence" on "the increasing Chinese incursions and infiltrations into Indian territory, right when the NDA government was showcasing a rosy picture of bonhomie with the visiting Chinese president".


The party sought an apology from the PM for a map recently distributed by the government of Gujarat, after a MoU signing ceremony with the Chinese side, allegedly showing Arunachal Pradesh and J&K as disputed areas. Trying to pin down Modi on the issue of increasing incursions by the Chinese, AICC spokesperson Abhishek Singhvi said, "The blatant incursions and infiltrations by the Chinese army onto the Indian soil is a challenge to our sovereignty.
