Bhushan demands the resignation of CBI director

Trouble for CBI chief Ranjit Sinha seems to be mounting as activist-advocate Prashant Bhushan told the Supreme Court on Tuesday that top officials of the Anil Dhirubhai Ambani Group (ADAG) met the Central Bureau of Investigation director at least 50 times in 15 months at his official residence in Delhi.

A bench headed by Justice HL Dattu said it will take up on Thursday Bhushan’s plea seeking recusal of the CBI director from the 2G scam investigation on the alleged ground that he was trying to scuttle it.
