The Calcutta High Court on Wednesday will give its verdict on the stay of registration of FIR against Trinamool Congress MP Tapas Pal for his 'rape and shoot' comments.
A division bench comprising Justice Girish Gupta and Justice T Chakraborty had heard the case earlier this month and had reserved its judgment till August 13.
The bench had extended the stay till August 14 on the execution of a single bench order directing registration of an FIR and CID probe against Pal for his objectionable comments against women.
