The 26-year-old woman who lodged a complaint of rape against Additional Commissioner of Police Sunil Paraskar, has been provided police protection after she began receiving frequent calls from unknown phone numbers.
The small-time model told the police that she started getting frequent calls over the past two days, and though she chose not to answer the calls, she fears she could face a threat to her life for lodging a complaint against a high-profile police officer.
Accordingly, the victim has been provided an armed guard round the clock, while the police station in whose jurisdiction she lives has been asked to keep a watch on her residence to prevent any untoward incident.
