"The relationship between India and Bhutan is historic. The new government is committed to make this even stronger," Modi told members of the Bhutan Parliament on Monday. "If you walk a few steps, we too feel like walking those steps and supporting you," Modi said in his address in Hindi. Modi arrived in the Himalayan country on Sunday. "Our hearts are always open for friendly relations with neigbours. A change in governance will not change that," he said.
