Will it be an Arvind Kejriwal vs Narendra Modi contest in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections? The Aam Aadmi Party chief has promised to talk about the issue today which has been a subject of intense speculation in the last few weeks.

"Many people asking me - "will i contest against Modi ji?" I will talk on this issue in today's rally at Bangalore," tweeted Mr Kejriwal. He will address a rally at the city's Freedom Park ground which will wrap up his two-day tour of Karnataka.

This comes just a day after Mr Modi, the BJP's prime ministerial candidate, was finally picked as the party's Lok Sabha candidate from Uttar Pradesh's Varanasi seat, which is currently being held by his senior colleague Murli Manohar Joshi.

Mr Kejriwal now plans to address a rally from the very constituency, in a further sign that a face-off between the leading faces of the two parties in the Lok Sabha polls is imminent.
