The state government has reportedly decided not to table the Karnataka Lokayukta Bill, 2014, during the ongoing legislature session. While it was approved by the cabinet last week, Karnataka Lokayukta Justice Y Bhaskar Rao met Governor HR Bhardwaj here on Sunday, expressing concern over the provisions of the draft Bill.
"Let there be a public debate on the draft Bill. We want more opinions from all sections of society. The legislation may be tabled in the extended budget session in June-July," government sources told
