After Narendra Modi and Mamata Banerjee, Left poster boy Buddhadeb Bhattacharjee will be taking the 'brigade' challenge in Kolkata on Sunday. The Left will kickstart its 2014 campaign from a rally at Kolkata's brigade parade ground, the same venue where TMC and BJP held two separate rallies in less than a fortnight.
Left front chairman Biman Bose said, the Left had not 'hired' any private agency to broadcast the rally unlike BJP and TMC and thus media was free to show the 'real' image to the masses
"This will be a historic rally. The entire birgade grounds will be full. We are not getting private agencies to shoot the rally so that they can camaflouge the exact number of people on the ground like what TMC and BJP did. Media is free to show as they like tomorrow," said Bose.
