The Communist Party of India (CPI) has asked Prime Minister Manmohan Singh to withdraw his government's decision on fixing gas prices from $4.2 to $8.4 per million British thermal unit. CPI leader Gurudas DasGupta says by doubling the gas price government favoring the Reliance Industries Ltd to get advantages from them for upcoming general election of 2014.
