Amarnath Yatra Attack: Terrorists kill unarmed pilgrims; 'cowards will pay' says PM Narendra Modi

In a dastardly terror attack on Amarnath Yatra pilgrims, seven people including six women have been killed and 19 people have been injured. The attack took place around 8:30 pm last night in Anantnag when terrorists opened fire on a bus full of pilgrims who were returning after visiting the holy shrine. All the injured pilgrims are reported to be in a stable. All 7 killed victims belong to Gujarat. National Security Advisor (NSA) Ajit Doval briefed Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the terror attack. PM Modi has strongly condemned the attack and said that India will never be bogged down by such cowardly acts. Meanwhile, Jammu and Kashmir chief minister Mehbooba Mufti visited the victims in the hospital and assured of full cooperation to the security forces.
