New Delhi: The BJP has given a political spin to the government's decision to award Bharat Ratna to two eminent personalities, demanding to know why its leader, former prime minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, has so far not been conferred the country's highest civilian honour, and announcing that it will bestow the honour on the ailing leader once the party comes to power.
