Samajwadi Party leader clarifies tea-seller remark, says won't apologise to Modi - NewsX

New Delhi: Hours after Samajwadi Party leader Naresh Agarwal said that a tea seller like Narendra Modi can never be the Prime Minister, he has now issued a clarification saying that his words were twisted out of context. However, he said he won't apologise to BJP PM candidate Narendra Modi. "My statement was misconstrued by the media. I apologise if my statement hurt the sentiments of the the poor but I will not apologise to Narendra Modi," Agarwal said.
