Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath's swift crackdown on slaughterhouses in the state as effectively curtailed business for majority of meat sellers and restaurateurs. This was evident on Monday when meat sellers in Lucknow and in many other districts of Uttar Pradesh called for an indefinite strike against the CM's diktat.
