US ship with guns sparks massive probe, hunt for diesel suppliers -- NewsX

Tuticorin: Indian investigators are trying to determine whether an American ship, detained for illegally entering Indian waters and carrying guns and ammunition without permission, was involved in arms trafficking.
The Tamil Nadu government has shared a report based on the interrogation of the crew with the Intelligence Bureau and RAW. The case has now been transferred to the specialized wing of the Tamil Nadu, known as the Q Branch.
The ship was also carrying 1,500 liters of diesel which had allegedly been bought illegally. Investigators are trying to locate two Indians who supplied the fuel.
