UP Polls 2017: Akhilesh Yadav likely to be made as Party President

In a clear sign that he is not ready to compromise till all his demands are met, Uttar Pradesh chief minister Akhilesh Yadav has decided to go ahead with the emergency meeting of national executives today. This comes a day after party president Mulayam Singh Yadav revoked expulsion order of Akhilesh & Ram Gopal Yadav. Akhilesh has meanwhile promised to speak out on what he perceived to be the real reasons for the differences in the party, including 'exposing those' who have been trying to sabotage things - a clear hint towards uncle Shivpal Yadav and 'outsider' Amar Singh. And that big decisions were expected. Many say some of the major decisions that are most likely are the ouster of Amar Singh and making Akhilesh Yadav, Samajwadi president.
