The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), on Wednesday, took over the investigation into rape charges against former dairy minister Babulal Nagar.
The CBI steps in at a time when the investigating officer with the state Criminal Investigation Department's crime branch (CID-CB) has been accused of a biased probe against the minister.
