India observed the Navy day with grand display of might in Mumbai today. Navy day is observed on 4th December every year to commemorate the sinking of Pakistan naval ship “PNS Ghazi” and India’s victory over Pakistan in the 1971 war. Chief of Naval Staff Admiral Sunil Lanba today assured the nation that navy is fully combat ready to protect country’s maritime interest in Indian Ocean.
