Hyderabad: In a surprising move, YSR Congress chief YS Jaganmohan Reddy has lauded the BJP's Prime Ministerial candidate Narendra Modi. In his first press meet after he came out of jail, Jaganmohan Reddy said, "I have a lot of respect for Modi's administrative capabilities. Why can't he practice a secular, inclusive politics and bring the entire opposition together"?
Jagan's first public statement in the last 16 months has shocked the Congress, which is hoping for a post-poll tie up with his party. Even though, Jagan maintained that his party is going to polls alone and would tie up with only a secular front at the Centre, his public admiration of Modi is leading to speculations over a possible Jagan - NDA tie-up, if the NDA manages to come to power.
