In a bid to botch up the probe into rape charges against former Rajasthan Minister Babulal Nagar, the official who has been entrusted the task is found to be flouting the norms set for such cases. According to reports, the victim along with the CID Crime Branch was taken to Nagar's residence. When the probe team visited the house, the accused Minister was present there. This was done by passing the rule. Here the victim was taken to the accused's residence in the evening, unlike the usual norm according to which an accused is taken during the day time. The case has been handed over to CID-Crime Branch for investigation and additional SP VK Gaur is probing the matter. Interestingly, the investigating officer is said to be a favourite of the 53-year-old former Minister Nagar.
