Armed men loots 12 crore cash from ATM collection centre in Thane, Maharashtra

In one of the biggest incidents of dacoity in Maharashtra, in the wee hours of Tuesday, around 7-8 masked persons armed heavily with weapons barged into a cash management firm in Thane and decamped with cash amounting to more than Rs 12 crores. Primary information from Thane police department revealed that the persons had guns and knives and targeted the Checkmate Cash Management Services Pvt Ltd, a well-known company dealing with cash transit and delivering cash to ATMs of various banks.
