Trinamool Congress celebrates land bill in Singur

The UPA may be riding high on the successful passage of the land acquistion Bill in the Lok Sabha, but the Trinamool Congress which voted against the Bill on the floor of the house, is claiming victory in Singur. Far removed from the cacophony of celebrations in Bengal's backyard, farmers who had given up their land willingly say this Bill should have come much earlier.
