Oppositions asks questions to central government on inflation.

Food Ministry is considering revoking its order for compulsory export of 3.2 million of sugar and is open to lower import duty in order to keep prices of the sweetener under control. The government had asked sugar mills to export 3.2 million tonne (MT) in the current 2015-16 marketing year to offload surplus stock in the domestic market that depressed local prices.
