Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on Thursday addressed the nation on the 67th Independence Day of India. This is the Singh's last address to nation on the Independence Day as the PM of UPA-2.
Singh addressed the nation from Red Fort. Singh was received by Defence Minster AK Antony, Minister of State Jitendra Singh reached and Defence Secretary at the Red Fort on Thursday morning.
He spoke on the inclusive and inspiring growth in the country and talked about the efforts to shape up a new India. The Prime Minister in his last Independence Day's speech before the Lok Sabha elections in 2014 talked about UPA's achievements in the last 10 years.
