A Kathmandu-bound Jet Airways flight has been grounded after a threat call was received by security officials at around 12 pm this afternoon, warning of a ‘gift box’ under a seat in the aircraft. The threat comes a day ahead of Republic Day when the country has been put on high alert following intelligence inputs of possible attempts to carry out attacks across the country. The Flight 9W-260 was to take off from the IGI Airport in New Delhi at 1.25 pm. Seven crew members and about 104 guests were disembarked and searched.
