A rally being called by the Telugu desam Party in Seemandhra region, has sent alarm bells in the state administration. A series of protests continued in the region for the seventh consecutive day against the Congress and UPA's decision to bifurcate the state. Protests also erupted across coastal Andhra and Rayalaseema districts demanding a united Andhra. Rallies, backed by YSR Congress and TDP, were organised in Kadapa town and many villages across the district.
