SDM Durag Shakti Nagpal suspended for taking on the sand mafia in uttar pradesh
Durga who is a 2009-batch IAS officer had taken on the sand mafia as SDM posted in gautam Budhha Nagar She had filed 17 FIRs and secured 22 arrests from CJM. the authorities impounded 297 vehicles used for illegal mining during her eventful tenure.
After the uproar over her suspension the Uttar Pradesh CM brushed aside all allegations terming it as an administrative decision.
