NewsX: Supreme Court- 3 Lakh compensation to Acid Attack Victims

NewsX: Supreme Court has ordered a minimum of 3 Lakh rupees compensation to acid attack victims. The Apex court ruling says that 1 Lakh rupee must be paid within 15 days of the attack, while the remaining 2 Lakh rupees must be given in 2 months time. Court also said that Acid will not be sold to anyone without an photo identity and will not be sold to people less than 18 years of age.
