Uttarakhand Floods: BJP demands Prez rule

NewsX: One month since tragedy struck Uttarakhand on June 16, rehabilitation seems a far cry for over 232 villages still cut off from the rest of the State. This is amid Government identifying as many as 239 villages for immediate rehabilitation.
Besides the fear of disease looming large in nearly 50,000 household complaints about laxity in supply of relief materials is also galore.
While the government has decided to declare the 5,748 people missing as 'presumed dead', inclement weather and a near paralyzed administration are making the path of recovery, relief and rehabilitation more difficult.
