News X: Sooraj Pancholi, the prime accused has been granted bail by the Mumbai High Court.Suraj Pancholi whose judicial custody was extended till the 11th of July had applied for bail today at the Mumbai High Court. Sooraj has been granted bail on a surety bond of 50000 rupees and will have to visit the police station every alternate day to help withinvestigation.Although initially it was said that it might not be easy for Sooraj to get bail in the case since Jiah's mother Rabiya Khan has been opposing the bail. On June 27th Sooraj's judical custody was extended by the session court and a day earlier his father Aditya Pancholi had moved the Mumbai High court for his son's bail, after the earlier bail plea was rejected on 21st June. due to the prima facie evidence to connect him with the offence of abetting Jiah's suicide.
