News X: Didi gets no relief from the Supreme Court to postpone the Panchayat polls. The Supreme Court bench of Justice A K Pattnaik refused any relief to west bangal Government on the issue of Panchayat elections in the state. With the West Bengal panchayat polls slated to be held during Ramzan, the ruling Trinamool Congress as well as the Minority Cell of Congress approached the Supreme Court seeking a review of its earlier order. The Apex Court bench of Justice A K Pattnaik has asked the state to file a review petition instead. The matter will be presented before the bench of Chief Justice Altamas Kabir tomorrow.
