NewsX: CAG in its report on NDMA has stated that its functioning has been found to be ineffective in most of the key areas. There are critical gaps in preparedness level for various disasters occuring across the country. It as no information or control over progress of work at the state level and that it has been unsuccessful in implementation of various projects. This comes at a time when the country is suffering with the worst flood ever.
