Beech Bahaas:Detergent and frozen fat found in Mother Dairy milk collected from Ghaziabad

In yet another case of alleged adulteration and flouting of rules, the Central Food Laboratory, Kolkata has found detergent and frozen fat in Mother Dairy milk. Some samples of milk were collected in January 2015 from Mother Dairy booths in Ghaziabad by the district Food and Drugs Administration (FDA) department and sent to the Kolkata laboratory where detergent and frozen fat were detected.
Ghaziabad FDA has now received the re-test reports from the Kolkata-based laboratory according to which both samples of full cream and toned milk were found containing frozen fat and detergent.
