NewsX: The major security lapses being attributed to the ambush of the Congress party convoy on Saturday revolve around Maoist build-up on the Darba plateau going undetected. The State highway 211 from Sukma to Jagdalpur was not sanitised, there were no sweeps to disrupt Maoist build-ups, all Congress leaders in Sukma travelled together presenting a plum target and there were no means of getting reinforcements.
