Even as nation reels with rise in rapes of minors and girls, a nasty racket of child trafficking has come to the fore. A 3-day-old baby boy from Ludhiana was sold thrice. Shockingly, the infant was first sold by his own maternal grandfather. After changing hands thrice, he was finally bought by a Delhi-based businessman for Rs 8 lakh. This deal was sealed on social networking site facebook. Thankfully, the baby was recovered by the police after 10 days and safely handed over to his mother.
