Only yesterday Narendra Modi took the FICCI Ladies organisation by storm. The Gujarat CM's address at FICCI-FLO comes only four days after Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi addressed the CII. Modi was all praise for women attributing Gujarat's success to women empowerment. He also stressed that empowering women is a step towards nation building but the status of women in India has become worse than in the 18th century despite progress made by society in other areas.
