Bangalore: Missionary found dead at the St Peters Pontifical Seminary

Hours after Easter prayers, a senior missionary was found dead in his room at the St Peters Pontifical Seminary in Bangalore. Father KA Thomas, rector of the seminary, was killed by unidentified miscreants early on Monday morning. The father was to retire in a couple of years. He hailed from Ooty diocese and is a highly respected missionary. Police have inferred that the missionary was dragged from his room and bludgeoned with a boulder. The incident happened at a time when most of the students of the seminary were on easter vacation and there were very few staff members in the campus.
