Italian marines case: Daniele Mancini served notice

Govt of India inform the Supreme Court that the notice to Italian envoy has been served. Till yesterday, the Indian government was talking of waiving Mancini's diplomatic immunity but now MEA sources tell NewsX that the government is in a bind on the issue as the Italian envoy's immunity is absolute. External Affairs Minister Salman Khurshid will present the government's stand on the issue to the Supreme Court on Monday.
