India may vote for UN resolution against Lanka

Although no decision has been formally announced, India might vote against Sri Lanka. The reasons being: 1. India is unhappy with Sri Lanka's implementation of the recommendations made by its own Lessons Learned and Reconciliation Commission that suggested steps to address Tamil concerns.2. India is happy with the language of the resolution, 3. The government is mindful of the sensitivity of the issue in Tamil Nadu, 4. Tamil parties are up in arms after fresh allegations about human rights violations against ethnic Tamils by Sri Lankan forces.
