Vasundhra Raje to end factional feud in Rajasthan

Former Rajasthan chief minister Vasundhara Raje may be appointed as the state BJP chief to lead her party in the assembly elections due to be held in 2013. A former announcement in this regard is expected to be made by the BP core group following its meeting on Thursday. Raje, who was the chief minister of Rajasthan for 5 years till 2008, paid a visit to the national capital on Tuesday and held discussions with the senior party leaders. Meanwhile, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) man and former Rajasthan Home Minister Gulab Chand Kataria will remain the leader of Opposition in the State Assembly.
