Delhi gangrape: JJB likely to decide over Juvenile today

The Juvenile Justice Board is expected to decide today whether the juvenile involved in Delhi gangrape-cum-murder case is to be prosecuted along with other five accused in the fast-track court. The Board presided over by Principal Magistrate Geetanjali Goel had reserved its order on Jan 24th on a petition filed by Janata Party President Subramanian Swamy. Two school principals, former and current, of the minor accused had appeared before the court. Their statements were recorded. Subramanian Swamy seeks that no leniency be shown to juvenile as his act was brutal and crime committed by him shows that it was not the action of a juvenile.
