The AICC conclave in Jaipur has virtually turned into Congress pitching its battle for the 2014 polls. After Congress President Sonia Gandhi outlined the road ahead for the party, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh highlighted the achievements of the UPA government. He stressed that the UPA government has performed much better than the previous NDA Government and that poverty had gone down under the UPA rule.
